Our 6-Step Stone Installation Process
1. Site Preparation & Excavation
Excavate to the required depth, remove debris, and compact base with crushed stone or gravel to ensure drainage and stability.
2. Base & Bedding Layer
Spread and screed a layer of coarse sand or stone dust, or apply mortar bedding for vertical surfaces, to create a level setting bed.
3. Setting Stone
Position each stone by hand, tapping to align heights, maintain consistent joints, and achieve the intended pattern or random layout.
4. Joint Filling & Compaction
Sweep polymeric sand or grout into joints, then compact the surface to lock stones in place. Wet the joints to activate polymeric seal.
5. Sealing & Finishing
Apply penetrating stone sealer on horizontal surfaces to resist stains, plus caulk edges and transitions for a clean, polished look.
6. Final Inspection & Cleanup
Check levelness and joint integrity, remove any residue, and perform a walkthrough—ensuring your new stone surface meets our high standards.

Flagstone patios and walkways typically range from $25 to $50 CAD per sq. ft. installed. Stone veneer is priced at $15 to $30 per sq. ft..
Most installations complete within 3–7 days, depending on area size. All work is fully insured and includes a 5-year warranty on installation and materials.
