Our 6-Step Skylight Installation Process

3. Flashing & Weatherproofing
Integrate manufacturer-approved flashing kits with underlayment and roofing shingles or membranes to create a durable, watertight seal.
4. Skylight Unit Installation
Secure the skylight curb or deck-mount frame, fasten the unit per spec, and seal all joints with high-performance sealants.
5. Interior Insulation & Finishing
Insulate around the skylight shaft, frame drywall, apply trim, and finish paint or plaster for a seamless interior look.
6. Final Inspection & Cleanup
Test for leaks, verify vent operation (if applicable), clean glass and surrounding areas, and walk you through the new natural light source.
